And also I happened to check my junk mail today, and found 2 emails in it that should of came into my regular inbox. Boo. I hate when that happens. It was way to cold to go outside, so we opted for some indoor shots. These Cache Valley winters just last a little to long!    suckers bring out the best smiles….

And on another note… I am booking a few less sessions each month now. I will only be taking a limited amount so there for spots are filling up much quicker. So if you want spring pictures now is the time to book. Look beyond the snow…. It will come soon.   Between some weddings and portraits sessions already booked spots are limited.   Thanks everyone!!

The newest members of our family…. for 2 more months at least.   They are 4 weeks old today, and so cute. My kids of course have fallen in love with them. Mya likes to put them “night night” and I have been so worried one would end up missing and she will  have stashed it somewhere. So far so good though. When they were first born they were just “scary” to her.  But now that they look like  puppies not mice she has decided shes likes them.  Tayt loves them. But I keep reminding him we only get to keep them a little while before they go to new homes. We’ll see how that goes…

Can you see how relaxed she looks?! She is the most mellow of the bunch. Just content with anything. She has the biggest mohawk of the group, it won’t go down. Just grows that way. And she is the smallest.

This little guy is a good mix between mellow, and playful. And the only one without a crazy mohawk.

And the big man.  A.k.a. fatty guy   He is by far the most advanced and is the bruiser of the bunch. He’s super playful and very interested in my camera. Notice the stares… he would freeze and just watch it.

Warm enough for family pictures! I love it. And loved these kids, all so happy to have their pictures taken. I just love me a happy 1 year old…

It’s friday, sunny, “warm”, and I have a session this afternoon. Ahhh… I just love days like this!

And this little lady turned 2, yes 2 last weekend. Can’t believe it.

And Tayt, just as handsome as it gets.

Look at these cheeks. So cute. She was a  good sleeper. She came right out of her moms arms into one of my baskets. That doesn’t happen to often. We usually start with the easier stuff, and work our way their. She was opposite in that she woke up at the end. haha. I just love this little concerned look she has.

Or maybe I should title this the “one month old newborn” HAHA. But seriously.Thats what we were saying. He skipped the newborn stage. Went right to a 4-6 week old.  I have yet to meet a newborn soooooo wide awake. His mom is one of my good friends going back to 5th grade. And we had been talking about doing his session since she told me she was expecting. After she had him we scheduled when he was 1 week old.  And EVERY picture she either sent me or that I saw online he was wide awake. He came into this world ready to soak it up all up, and he’s not going to sleep and miss any of it. Even with my best tricks. 2.5 hours later he was wide awake as ever.  So lets just say no baskets, buckets etc. for him. We were all afraid he would jump right out of it.

The only time he closed his eyes…. it was about 30 seconds and I was snapping like crazy.

This is slightly becoming my family blog as well as my photo blog.   We went on a little vacation about 2 weeks ago to Florida. It was heaven! Since we came back I haven’t had to many withdrawls until yesterday. The SNOW.  Something about it being January, and no snow, and a warm 30 something degree has seemed okay to me.  January isn’t that bad. Then the snow. And blah. I know alot of people say embrace it you live here , and I really do…. up until the end of December. Then I’m done.  And I’m now dreaming of being back here. Lazy days, the ocean out our back door, Ahhhh….. I only took my camera with me one morning to the beach, and one afternoon to the orange groves. The rest of the time I decided to just use my p&s.
