Bryce + Heather. This cute couple is getting married this summer. They also have a little 3 foot love in their life that they couldn’t leave out. Miley. So she popped in for a few here and there, basically when she wanted in on some I let her just jump on in. And when she didn’t want her pictures taken she instead had fun throwing snowballs at them. 
I was only going to post a little sneak on my facebook page, but the quality of facebook pictures is soooo teribble I thought I better share it here as well.
Back in October I had the opportunity to be in the delivery room when my niece was born. I have always wanted to see it unfold and be a part of one. I wanted to watch, not do the work. 
And I couldn’t of been happier to be able to capture the night. I think birth stories are some what of a new trend. However I think when people think of photographing a delivery they automatically think it would be graphic, and distasteful. And that’s not the case at all. And as I was taking pictures I was thinking about how many things will change in the next 20+ years. So many important things to document, that will be so interesting for her to be able to look back and see what it looked like the day she was born. What did the phones look like, the room, medical equipment, the hallways, clothes, items her parents brought for her, the cameras. Everything will look so dated years down the road. 28 years ago when I was born I would love to be able to have a look back and see all the details of what it looked like that day. And I’m sure she will to. Love to hear your thoughts.

I have decided this age group (3-4 months) needs their own package pricing. In the past I recommended that clients wait until the baby is 6-7 months old for their next session, or whenever they are sitting up but can’t crawl yet. But the chubby 3-4 months age is really one that I think needs pictures to. It’s a little harder to get as many shots as my normal packages include, so I decided to do it a mini package for this age. Less pictures than my normal packages, and less money. Just a smaller version of what I usually offer. I’m still working out the details, but email if you want more info.
Madison came to me tiny and sleepy. She was super little weighing just 5 lbs. and had the best creamy baby skin. She is the last of my little streak of newborn girls. 3 in row all born about the same day.

2 years ago I met a bride her name was Sarah,
Her groom was Dave. She took a chance with me, and Adam (my wedding photo partner) and booked a wedding with us. Our first wedding. Trusting… yes?
We all immediately clicked, and Sarah I would now call a friend. Maybe even Dave. 
Well 2 years later… she has the most beautiful baby and we have now come full circle. I got to meet sweet Scarlett and do some newborns. It’s crazy how fast 2 years pass, I remember talking to her after her wedding and saying how I had to do newborns for them when they had baby. And here she is….

Such a pretty little baby. She is one of my long time friends little girl which made it even more fun. Only 4 days, I love when moms bring them to me so early and fresh!! 2 hours later we had lots of fun shots!
