I do believe my SIL was born in the wrong era. She has a very vintage vibe to her, her house is vintage and her decor in her house is vintage. She has great style and I was excited about this idea. It started out as wanting to use her great couch, then we went from that to the vintage clothes, top hat, pipe, newspaper, lamp etc. I have been so excited to do this shoot for them. And I can always try some crazy shots with family and have no pressure, I love that. Olivia (livey as we call her) was pretty fiesty as usual and there is NO posing her. She does what she wants and usually after she wants to come up and see her picture. She’s such a doll and do you see the resemblance with her and Tayt?

Yep this Alder family and the one just a bit ago are related.

The little boy was a total poser. I loved it. And he even has a good “real” smile. Usually that age is hard I don’t like to tell them to smile cause you get that forced totally fake one. But he did so good. This whole session was a breeze a couple of locations, lots of smiles from the kids, good lighting. Just what we like.

Oh I’m loving all of these. She wanted something done as the sun was setting and out in a field somewhere. YAY! So I thought this sunflower field was perfect. Little Taylie is only 9 weeks old which is usually one of the hardest ages but she did really good. Even giving me lots of eye contact.

best for last in my opinion, i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

My little sister is a senior this year. So this is just the first of many seniors shoots we are planning on doing for her until she graduates. Maybe one each season? Or whenever an idea strikes up in my brain and I want somebody to try it out on.

I was having a fun time trying out more with sunflares. Kellee is an absolute amazing wedding photographer that I get to shoot with sometimes and she is the queen of sunflares. She has totally inspired me to try them out and I’m addicted. They add so much to a pictures. I love them!

Senior 2010.  And wow when it’s said like that, 2002 when I graudated seems like forever ago. Although it doesn’t feel that long ago.  So during this session I had a red ant bite underneath my 4th toe. HOLY MOLY OUCH! I swear the thing had venom in his bite. My whole foot got swollen and it ached and throbbed for a little over 3 hours. Sheeesh. I had no idea that it would cause so much pain. But I seriously compalined about it all night long.  Anyways  the lighting this time of night is lovely, and so is she… obviously.
